We had Uncle Dave and Aunt Sarah over for dinner, cake and presents on Sophie's birthday. Earlier that day, Sophie had helped me "decorate" the cake and was so proud of the sprinkled mess she made. And I had asked that morning what she wanted to do that day - she could pick anything: zoo, park, pool, whatever. What did she want to spend her day doing? Playing on the computer (she loves pbskids.org). So she spent a lot of time doing that. We also went for a walk and played in the water outside. It was a really good day and Sophie loved every second of it.
