We spent the Memorial Day weekend in Galena, IL and holy cute, Batman! What an adorable little town. We had so much fun! We spent ToNs of time at the hotel pool that had a water slide for adults and a little one in the kiddie pool. (That Clara went down. And that Sophie would not touch. Of course.) We shopped for vintage toys, licked ice cream, picnicked by the river, balanced with Sophie on curbs and walls, played at the playground, walked over bridges, sent Nate and Sophie to Dubuque to see Shrek and mom even rolled down a hill (much to dad's surprise). It was a fabulous weekend and we will definitely be going back. Soon.
