Have I mentioned before how much I love Oak Park? Reason 4,601: a couple times a summer, the local pool plays a kids' movie on a big screen poolside so you can swim while you watch. They were showing Madagascar 2 last night so Nate took Sophie. It was a late night for her but we made sure she had a really good nap beforehand and gave her chocolate milk and gummy bugs to keep her going. Nate said he had to force her out of the pool when her teeth started chattering because she was enjoying the whole experience so much. I imagine many, many more summer nights watching movies in the pool over the years. How fun is that?
