Beatlemania

Beatlemania has hit our house. We got the Beatles Rock Band game and while Nate and I like it a lot, Sophie is completely obsessed with it. OBSESSED!!! She seriously threw a tantrum, kicking and screaming full-on tantrum, the other day because we told her no. And if you know Sophie, you know she's thrown maybe three tantrums in her life. All Sophie wants to do is watch the Beatles now. She loves the video at the beginning of the game, loves "I Am the Walrus" and "Yellow Submarine" and can sing along to a bunch of the songs now. She knows who John, George and Ringo are, but not Paul. And she has definite opinions on what are Beatles songs - she's generally an early Beatles fan. Put on Sgt. Peppers and it's a no-go. Sometimes she likes to bang on the drums or get out her toy guitar so she can play along, but mostly she just likes to watch us play while she sings and dances.
