Happy Mother's Day to me!

Can I just "woot!" about my husband? Nate completely spoiled me this Mother's Day. First (and best!!), he took almost the whole weekend off of work. It was just awesome to actually spend the weekend with him! He sent me to the spa on Saturday morning for a massage and mani/pedi. He took me out to a really fancy dinner Saturday night (sans kidlets!). We ate at the Signature Room on the top of the Hancock Building and had a view of the Sears Tower (or whatever it's called now) - it was delish! We had a nice leisurely day on Sunday - Nate let me sleep in and we played outside, went to Target, spent time together. It was perfect! Best of all, he snuck Sophie to the store where she picked out yellow flowers and a card for me. She came downstairs to get me, carrying this big bouquet, saying "Mommy! I got you flowers and a card! Can you come up here please?" Then she ripped open the envelope to hand me the card. But the best gift was hearing her sing this Mother's Day song she and Nate made up - heart melted!
