Sophie just marched right in. She was excited and ready to go. I think it helped that it's the same school, but she's graduated to upstairs with the big kids and that she gets to show Clara the ropes, so to speak.
I love the things they are doing upstairs. This is Sophie with Mr. Larry doing her weather calendar. Sophie is so independent this year!
Clara was pretty excited, too. She loves her Dora ballerina backpack.
She did really good at the drop off, although I think she was a bit surprised that I wasn't staying. At pick up, she burst into tears. It actually wasn't until Wednesday this week that she stopped crying at pick up but she has started crying at drop off. So... win? She does say that she likes school, has fun and wants to go back.
