It's Puzzling

So it turns out I married a puzzler. And it's genetic. Nate has been working on this 2,000 piece puzzle (ironically of the Last Supper) for a couple weeks. He's not even done yet but he's enjoyed it so much that he's already bought a couple more big puzzles to work on. I think it's nice for him to be able to turn off his brain at the end of the day. And it's nostalgic - he remembers doing puzzles with his family as a kid.

And apparently Sophie has inherited mad puzzle skillz from Nate (it wasn't from me). Miss S. will literally spend an hour (an eternity in toddlerdom) doing puzzle after puzzle. And she is really good at them! She needs very little help and is pretty quick. When she gets stumped she puts her hands on her hips and says, "Hmmm... let's think." But that doesn't happen very often.

Miss Clara got the gene too. Or something. She really loves playing with wooden puzzles. She loves to bang and throw and chew on the pieces - not so much the "putting together" yet. But she takes her work just as seriously as Nate and Sophie. And P.S. does anyone think she might actually crawl before she turns one?
