Sophie is a spaz. This morning, she spent about an hour taking care of her "Boots" monkey like a baby. She wrapped him up like a doll using her shirt. She put him in and out of the crib. She changed his diaper with wipes even - but only ON the changing table. She gave him a bath with pretend water and she even brushed his teeth. She does this all the time with her dolls and stuffed animals, but this was a new extreme and with a much longer attention span. Gives me hope that she might be ok with a little sister.
Then we went to Babies R Us, where she found this Dora couch/bed. She went totally nuts for it. She even laid down in it, said, "Night Mommy" and then pretended to snore - "hon-choo, hon-choo". I couldn't stop laughing right there in the aisle.
