Oh man!

One minute, Sophie and Nora are just splashing along in the backyard, having a blast. 

The next minute, not so fun. Sophie somehow got an entire handful of slivers while we were playing. I think she fell against the fence, maybe? She had dozens of splinters, although most of them were pretty small. We tried to get them out at home but they weren't really budging. Our pediatrician sent us to urgent care where they spent hours not impressing me. But Sophie got a cool bandage and some ice cream with emellemons (M&Ms) so it all worked out ok I guess.
