Just a Girl and Her Tree

Most days the girls and I walk to the train to meet Nate as he is walking home from work. Most days Sophie wears clothes. Most days she wears shoes. Most days she only insists on carrying a stuffed animal, if anything at all. Yesterday was not like most days. And who am I to try to change her mind?
